Crossroads pairs you with an incarcerated student. You grade their Bible study lessons and write back. The whole thing happens at your kitchen table.
What you'll need
- A signup at crossroadsbiblestudy.org and their orientation
- Stamps, envelopes, and a pen
- Two hours a month, reliably
Pitfalls
- Write back fast. A three-week gap on your end is a long, quiet three weeks on theirs.
- Follow their rules exactly. Mail goes through the ministry, never direct, and never with your home address.
- Comment on what they actually wrote. Form letters are obvious from the first line.
