When someone goes into recovery, meal-train their family for the whole ninety days. Early sobriety leaves a house with no bandwidth left for dinner.
What you'll need
- A meal-train link, set up for twelve weeks and not three
- Six to eight people who'll each take a couple of nights
- Disposable pans, so nobody has to return a dish
Pitfalls
- Run it the full ninety days. Everyone signs up for week one and the calendar is bare by week five.
- Drop it on the porch and text. A family in this stretch does not want to host you.
- Don't put the reason in the signup. Say helping out the Millers, nothing more.
