Teach the Thing You Do All Day
Offer the library, the Boys & Girls Club, or the community center one free class in the thing you're actually good at — changing a tire, building a budget, writing a resume, coding a webpage.

- A one-page handout
- An email to the branch librarian or program director offering it
Pitfalls
- Pitch one specific class, not "I could teach something" — program directors say yes to nouns.
- Aim it at beginners and cut your material in half. Then cut it again.
- Offer to repeat it quarterly if it lands. A recurring class beats a one-off talk.
