- A note addressed to the crew by shift, not to the store
Pitfalls
- Address the note to the people, not the company — "to the overnight crew" gets pinned to the break-room board.
- Hand it to a manager with one sentence of instruction so it reaches the right shift.
- Do it on an ordinary week. Holiday gratitude is expected; February gratitude is remembered.
